Summer disco and Pottery Painting!

This week we held our annual Summer Disco in St Bedes. The disco ball was set up nice and high ready for some dancing and jumping. The sun refused to go down so we made the most of our curtains and flashing lights. Lots of dancing went on with some help from the Gaps and a few teachers. The Russians busted out some amazing moves and showed Mr Callow a thing or two!

Sunday was a nice relaxed day at school. With the year 7 production coming into its final rehearsals, the year 7's involved rehearsed their little hearts out while the rest of our boarders went to a Pottery Painting class in the art rooms. Mugs, bowls and plates were painted in bright colours, fantastic patterns and  designed with great thought. These will now be sent off to be glazed and kiln fired so they will return in tip top shape! A fun and different activity today after yet another busy week with summer term drawing to a close.
