Last Thursday was our first All Hallows' Year eight sleepover. Mrs Roberts had planned out a really exciting and fun night for the Year eights thus it was very popular with the day pupils as well - we had almost all beds in the boarding house booked out!
Instead of supper, the Year eights headed upstairs to get changed into warm clothes and wellies as we were going to head up to the woods - luckily the continuous rain that had been surrounding the school this week had stopped just in time. Once there, they all sat around the fire circle and were handed marshmallows to roast by putting them on the end of sticks. Whilst we were waiting for the pizzas to arrive, the kids decided to have a game of 'Manhunt' which was a bit like hide and seek - instead of the people being out when they were found, they instead joined up with the seekers to find everybody else.
After that, pizza did finally arrive thanks to Mrs Winter which was then handed around to everybody, as well as a can of lemonade each. For dessert, jam donuts was the pudding of choice - thus ending off a very healthy meal of course!
We then headed back down to the dorms where they all got into pyjamas and ready for bed.
