Christmas Carol Night

And so it comes to our last boarders activity of the year!! I really can't believe it has gone so fast that it is already Christmas in two weeks.

Straight after night prayers, all the children had showers and got into pyjamas so that they were ready for their carols. Once they were ready, they gathered on the stairs up to the girls landing - which had been festively decorated - and also sat in the area in front of reception. The talented Mrs Roberts was on the keys, and Mr Callow was directing the night.

Some of the songs we sang included 'Aussie Jingle Bells' - Miss Mewburn and I enjoyed that one the most - and 'Felice Navidad', as well as all the classic Christmas carols.

Overall, it was a lovely end to an even lovelier year. Sadly, this was also my last boarders activity ever as I am heading back to Australia next week! I would like to just say a massive thank-you to All Hallows for giving me a wonderful opportunity to work in such a friendly and welcoming environment. Every child has been a pleasure to look after as well and I will miss everyone so much!

And so, for the last time, I am signing off from the All Hallows' boarders blog.

Love,

Miss Donato :)
