Last Wednesday, we had our final disco of the term - our famous Christmas Disco! All the boarders were asked to dress up in their most festive outfits - including tinsel, face-paint, and baubles, of course - and then they could head down to the dance floor.
St Bede's was our chosen disco venue - and what a venue it was! The Christmas tree had been decorated, the fake reindeers and snowmen had been put up, and the disco lights had been turned on. Mr Gardiner had even worked out how to display a projection of swirly patterns onto the roof that made the atmosphere that much more festive.
Once again it was Mr Wheatley as the All Hallows' DJ, giving the boarders some wonderful dance tunes - both Christmas and recent pop songs. It was lovely to see all the children really let go and give their dancing their all - especially after an exceptionally long term!
Signing off,
Miss Donato :)
