It has been an excellent start to the second half of the term with the boarders participating in a Disney disco which was held in St Bede's last night.
DJ Wheatley was on sound, rocking out tunes such as 'I just can't wait to be King' and 'The Macarena which all the kids joined in on. Jaime Marin and Mr Callow tried out their street dancing as well as some brilliant Conga lines and many more amazing dance moves :)
Additionally, the marvellous and quite inventive costumes of all the boarders were what really made it an amazing night. We had many princesses, dragons, Dalmatians, and one of the Year 6 flexi boarders - Daisy - dressed up as Jane from 'Tarzan'. A few of the other Year 6 girls - Maddy, Ilona, Victoria, and Elena - ingeniously dressed in their pyjamas and went as 'Sleeping Beauties'!
A massive thankyou to Mr Opie for setting up the wonderful - and extremely loud - sound system, as well as to Mr Callow for the amazing disco lights, and for all the other supervising staff who made sure the night ran through smoothly.
